Ive seen this guy on YOUTUBE a good bit - he does explain things pretty well - I think alot of his stuff is very elementary, and he kinda over explains some things - but hey, you cant complain about FREE!!

Dunno he seems to know his onions with modes and chord building. Most people wanting instruction that i see here are after this level of instruction. Ofcourse the sites interactive so he can be addressed personaly. Like you said free is free and atleast he's not the usuall tosser just wanting to show off on the internet. The guy seems to actually care about instructing people.

Its absolutely deplorable that free instruction is pulled because of what they call copyright when in reality its that pay per lesson sites cant stand the competition. Think of every guitar hero you know, even steve vai started off learning other peoples songs. As did knopfler, clapton, allman, hendrix and every other 6 string plucker who's made a few quid over the years. Its about time these artists who learnt a trade by copying predecessors got their publishers in line and stopped this nonsense.

Imagine just how skint eric clapton would be now if freddy king had some legal people go and threaten to sue him unless he stopped playing his riffs.
Plagiarism is the cornerstone of all pop music.

thanks for sharing...as to the learning from free tabs site, I understand the artists want you to learn thier songs from their songbooks they publish. I hate to say this, but there weren't any websites when the boys mentioned were learning songs. They basically put that sucker on a turntable and kept playing it till they learned the chords and riffs. Maybe we should try to do the same, it may be a better way to learn how to listen and figure things out.
