When I went to test drive a Fender amp the other day I also tried this out and could not leave without it. I had just planned on the test drive so I could qualify for the free shirt but... Here is a link that is about 5 minutes or so but worth watching. Now I know how Gilmour gets some of his sounds.

Very nice. Buddy just got one and swears by it. I have a Boss DD6. I have to say that I can get pretty close to these sounds, but it takes a while to tweak those. With this pedal, pretty much any setting is very nice.

Thanks, now I have something else to guy :)

Oh I know what you mean alright, I just checked the price of this pedal. I'm passing my guitar place in the morning, and they just happen to have 3 in stock

Did you watch the whole demonstration? Or are you talking about another pedal you've had your eyes on? :)

fhopkins,

Nice pedal. I am in the market for a good delay pedal. I thought I wanted the Boss DD7 but this one is now in the run for my money as well. I will have to go play both of them side by side and see which one I like better. The only thing the video did not answer is whether the Carbon Copy can do a nice reverse delay effect.

Hi RK! I don't know if it does, but when you compare them you'll find out. Since the Easter holiday and grand children running all over I've not had a chance to put it through its paces yet. Good luck and keep me informed my friend!

The one thing I don't like about it is the lack of a tap tempo. I have one on the Boss and I've had a lot of circumstances where I've used it and would miss that aspect (trying to sync it with the drummer or current beat, U2 type stuff, etc. )

Yeah, that Boss DD6. The delay is ok sounding. I can tweak it to sound good, but that MXR is easier to get a better tone from. If I could get that MXR tone, with a tap tempo, that would rock.

I use delays more for recording than live playing anyway.

Trying to hint for my gf to pick this up for me...

Some pretty cool sounds from that thing. Youtube has some good demos on it too...
