Today at around 7:00 PM the UPS truck rolled up out front and off stepped a man with a box...my first guitar (and an assortment of stuff I thought a beginner should buy). The amp had come last week but now my own Fender has arrived. I'm waiting until Thursday (my next day off) to pop open the case so I can enjoy it. It is a Candy Cola Red American Standard Stratocaster... :D and I can't stop smiling :D

LOL! Hey how do I go about posting pics here? I'm kind of old school (no digital camera/cam).

You need a camera and download them to one of the sites like Photobucket then use the IMG code copy then paste.

Now that is willpower - I would have had the box ripped open before the driver had time to get back in his truck. Then would have played all night and gone to work tired the next day.

Congrats! Nothing like a new guitar, especially your first one. I understand your patience, but I would at least have opened the box!
