Ok, so my sister and i had a battle over if the 360 is better than the Wii. The 360 is better, IMO, but i thought i would let the public decide.

i prefer the PS3 but everything aside out of those 2 i say the 360 is for gamers looking for graphics and stuff like that and not for jumpin around playing tennis. you get what i mean. Cheers!

Ps3 all the way. After several arguments with my daughter though i'm starting to come round to the wii. No other console offers as much family fun as the wii. This last week we've all been on it me, the missus, the kids and my mom. Thats quite a user range, where the constsant 3rd person shooters or blood and gore games that dominate the 360 and ps3 aren't enjoyable to 6 or 60 year olds.
I just dont see what the 360 does that those consoles dont do to a greater or lesser degree. Its a good all round console though.

Wii's a better all around family system. Kids can play and jump around and mom can do the Wii Fitness thing.

Xbox 360 - good graphics, but I hate pretty much anything by Microsoft.

PS3 all the way for adult games. Backward compatible, great graphics, TONS of great games. Hard to beat a Playstation. Even the PS2 is still a great system.

PS3 for sure I have three in the house two 80GB and one 160GB not just for games but they are the best blueray dvd/cd players you can get. Two PS2's collecting dust in closet will be put out for the community yard sale.

i personally like 360's the most out of all 3, the PS3's have too many bugs, and not that many good exclusive games compared to the 360. wii is definitely the worst of all 3. btw i have all 3 consoles.

I like 360s best. Wiis are OK, but I'd rather sit on the couch and play video games while my brains melt then jump around while my brains melt.

I wish I could add to the discussion, but the last gaming system I bought was a Playstation, when they still called it by the word PLAYSTATION, and not just letters and numbers like today

Wiis are fun--you get a different type of gaming experience--and it doesn't have a complex controller.

Wii for family fun, PS3 for everythin else. Hate X-Box....too many American war games, I'm a stickler for British and Japanese games.

Nice! I still have my original PS. Can't even tell you how many nights after gigs I would be up until the next afternoon playing Resident Evil. PS2 and PS3 - both great.

With my son (6), Wii is more fun with him. We have a blast playing baseball and doing all kinds of things with that. Amazing how you can interact with that. I love the crossbow and shooting games too.

For "me", I tend to prefer PS-type games.

I prefer the orginal Nintendo game console. One direction pad and 2 buttons, can't go wrong there.

Seriously I love the way the games look on the PS-2 and PS-3 systems. RK

We have a Wii because it keeps visitors entertained :)
And that silly Wii fit and Wii fitness coach.

So I'd recommend the Wii, unless you are a hardcore gamer.

However by the sudden flood of Wii / x360 consoles in the stores now, the sales the stores are having on them, and both consoles being quite old now (Wii came out in 2005) I'd be guessing new generation consoles may be around the corner waiting to be announced in the near future.
Nintendo's consoles in the past seem to have run about a 5 year life span
