I bought one about 6 months ago. after 2-3 weeks it stopped working. I returned it and it was replaced. I forgot about it (I know very stupid of me) until recently. Anyway i sought it out, took it out of the box and out of its wrapping for the very first time. I connected to my chain and it does not work at all. Now my warranty has expired and Im left with a brand new broken pedal.
The moral of the story is, i shall never purchase another Marshall product, and I suggest you dont either- they are junk

Hi Paulie: two identical pedals breaking down in a row. Wow, that's unfortunate to say the least.

Even though it's out of warranty I'd try taking it back to the shop anyway. And if they won't do anything about it after this time then contact Marshall direct:

www.marshallamps.com

Sounds like there could be a glitch with a batch of pedals which they should know about and deal with.

Those pedals are made in the Far East, not the UK factory. They're basic level, but that's not the issue. I've never had a problem with the couple I've owned.

See how Marshall responds and let us know. Then tell us whether their customer care is junk or not...

Cheers - C

1. Is the battery dead?
2. Is it connected properly?
Marshall wouldn't still be around if all their products were "junk".
