Allo allo is a personal fave of mine Mr Racehorse. In Fact i styled my physique on Rene Artois.

Considering the girls he gets, that's not a bad idea.

By the way, my wife says "Oi Nutter!" to me all the time. Harry Enfield is brilliant.

Hey, wasn't this thread about anarchists at one point?

...Blah blah - see above...

Hi Ceri -

Two different influences come into play here. The first is that PBS (Public Broadcasting System) in the US aired a lot of BBC shows during my formative years back in the 70s and early 80s. So I got exposed to Monty Python, Reginald Perrin, The Two Ronnies, The Goodies, Are You Being Served?, 'Allo 'Allo, Fawlty Towers, Black Adder, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and lots of other British comedies. The second influence comes from actually living in Bedfordshire (RAF Chicksands) 1993-1994, where I watched Fry & Laurie, French & Saunders, Harry Enfield, Alas Smith and Jones, Red Dwarf, and many more.

So now you know why...that bloke's a nutter!

Ha! Well: I'd be very proud of some of that list, less so of other other items...

Still, these days your country sends mine The Sopranos, Family Guy and The Wire, and we send you back Simon Cowell, ___ Idol, ___'s Got Talent, and umpteen dance based TV competitions. Doesn't quite seem a fair exchange, does it...?

Smeg.

Cheers - C
