After seeing the Vick poll, I read this story.

This may be the second greatest day in bears history after super bowl XX. As I die hard bears fan I am ecstatic and thinking SB!

Not to ruin your celebration, but I don't think Jay Cutler can win a Super Bowl. He just doesn't have the right attitude and seems like an overgrown spoiled kid half the time.

That - and his playing his vastly over-rated. He is not as good as lot of people think. And I heard the Bears gave up two first-round picks and a starting QB for him? Ouch ...

He is an upgrade from Kyle Orton thats for sure. Now if they can take care of this headcase, just because you have all the tools dont mean you no how to use them. Look at us in Baltimore 4 years of Kyle Boller and he could never get the game to slow down and understand what was going on though he had the tools. Then look at Joe Flaco first year to the championship game got all the tools plus the mans like ice which is what they said about him through college. Like a General on the field and that was as a rookie. You have to see it and understand what is going on. The good ones are cool under fire and dont let pressure affect them. Tony Romo in Dallas wil never have that cool though he is not a bad QB. and for that he will never take the team all the way.

Huge longtime Bronco fan here...

I don't think he is overrated. Cutler was the 2nd coming of Elway IMO, especially in Shanahan's system. He has the arm, scrambling ability, and the accuracy. He had to do a lot on his own last year because the defense was awful and the RB's were blowing out a knee every other week. Sure he makes a few Favre like INT's every once in a while, but that same "go for it" attitude gets you a lot of TD's too. Couldn't believe we lost him. Hopefully those 1st round picks can build us a defense to make up for the loss.

Key word here is Shanahan's system. Not a fan of McDaniel's the only reason he look good with the Pat's was there system set up around him and a guy named Tom brady.

I think Cutler's attitude sucks. McDaniels stated that he was willing to work with him but Cutler would have nothing to do with him. When Denver fired Shanahan, Cutler pretty much wanted out of Denver and knew so. I'm betting that if he doesn't get his way in Chicago, he'll be pulling the same BS that he pulled in Denver.

Could be but I would rather have Shanahan over McDaniels

You can replace the name in this sentence with Tony Romo as well.

Giving up our first round picks, who cares? Jerry Angelo has not done a very good job in that department...Rashaan Salaam, Curtis Enis, Cade McNown and Rex Grossman

It's now official...The Bears still have to play 16 games to get to the playoffs.

So when Cutler doesn't have enough time to throw the ball and when he does the receievers won't get open. Finally, we can stop blaming the quaterback and look somewhere else.

As a UK-based bears fan, I'm just glad to have a QB someone has heard of. If Jay Cutler has a bit of attitude, that's OK I reckon.

At least it seems like they are trying to win rather than be mediocre for a nice change.

As a Vanderbilt alumni, its just nice to see a former Vanderbilt player starting somewhere in the NFL regardless of the team...
