Have you ever bought an inexpensive guitar that plays awesome? I bought a SQUIRE CYCLONE a while back and the thing plays and sounds awesome. It truely does play like BUTTA! The nice thing is it was on sale for $200.

I bought a MIM HSS Strat for $400 that plays great. That was inexpensive for me, compared to American Strats anyway.

The one on the left of the pic 129. it is a limited edition special II because of the color. They were 189. and for some reason I spoted a site that had them for 129. after ordering I thought about it and decided to buy two more but when I went back to site like an hour latter they were 189. again on the same morning. The other on line stores that are owned by the same people had them showing but they never moved from 189.

What kind of STRATOCASTER is that with only a humbucker? I have never seen one like that.

Probably my Epiphone acoustic. Got it on sale at GC for some random sale. Payed, $146 with tax out the door. Still haven't seen a better deal yet. Oh, and it plays amazing. I was completely impressed at the sound and playability of it.

Can never go wrong with a Danelectro. Back in the day there were some sweet cheapo's. Dano, Kay etc. Silvertone carried by sears were made at various times by these different manufacturers. Some sweet cheapo's.

Considering what I've got invested in them I think all 3 of my Fenders were inexpensive....

1991 (approx) Fender Montara A/E-$250 including hard shell case

1978 Musicmaster bass, got it free and spent $250-$300 restoring it, plus another $45 for a used hard shell case.

2005 Tie Dye Strat-$260 also including a hard shell case.

Considering what I see these particular ones go for on Ebay what a new Strat costs I think those were all good deals. Love 'em all and wouldn't trade any.

The acoustic bass in the back is now gone, just didn't play it enough.

Pretty much after I bought my first Squier, I decided that I would never be paying more than $350 for a guitar ever again...and that was 2-3 years ago...
