Your Fender Clinic guys are always welcome at my house. I'll buy beer and pizza too! Otherwise, a clinic at Jim's Music in Irvine, CA or Guitar Center in Fountain Valley, CA would be cool too...

Are clinics announced through a local store or posted somewhere in Fender's website? I am near Minnapolis with a new Guitar Center in Maple Grove, a northwest suburb. Love to see Fender there!

Generally, clinics are advertised through the stores hosting the events. Also, very soon, there will be a section of the Fender website that will have a "Calender of Events" which will post all upcoming Fender activities.

No problem, that's why we're now here on this forum.

Speaking of Forum, any clinics, etc. will more than likely be posted here as well.

The key to sucessful clinics is good advertising. And with this new Forum, I feel we should be able to reach out to more people and do a little bit of a better job than the store advertising alone.

Clinics are fun and a great way to meet our customers, I enjoy doing them and look forward to doing more and more of what you, the people want.

Chuck Levins Washington Music in Wheaton is a local institution, all the pros get their gear there when touring locally. They are doing a fender promo for this month with a good financing deal. There is also a GC in Rockville and Victor Litz in Gaithersburg. My 1st choice would be Chucks, then VL then GC in a pinch.

Either at a Guitar Center or Sam Ash or local Mom & Pop store?

If so, which one and where?

If not, what type of clinic would you like to see?

I'd love to see one somewhere near Seattle.
Or preferably Bellevue, WA, just east of Seattle.

I just attended a clinic on Nov 17.
The Greg Koch Guitar Masterclass Tour hosted in several locations by Long & McQuade in Canada.
Fronting Fender products and Hal Leonard teaching materials.

Guitars: Greg Koch
Bass: Reggie Hamilton --- wow is he ever good!
Drums: Tom Brechtlein

They did too good a job, I now own way too many Hal Leonard books & DVD's

I was very impressed with the clinic, even did a short writeup about it on my blog

I've never been to a Fender Clinic, my location is central Virginia. For those of us that haven't been to a clinic I have a few questions.
What is a clinic?
How long does it last?
Is it free?
Are new players along with seasoned players attending?
The Richmond, Va. guitar stores are listed on this site so I won't name them.

The one I just went to was free, you just had to register to attend first.
Consisted of technique and product demos.
It lasted about 4 hours. I'd go again if it comes around in the future.
And the crowd was very mixed from complete beginners to pros and music teachers.

Ok, I can do better than beer and pizza. If you come to Northern New Jersey, I will offer the clinicians lobster, Steak, BBQ, single malt scotches. You name the menu and beverage, its there. Come in the summer and we can have a little after the store clinic, BYO Fender Backyard BBQ Festival/Clinic. Entry is BYO Fender. Beverages, hot dogs and hamburgers for anyone else who attends.

We've had a few in South Florida in the past, but I haven't heard of any recently. We have (3) Guitar Centers -- Kendall, Hallandale Beach, W. Palm Beach -- and at least one Sam Ash in Miami Lakes.

Would like to see that crazy man Greg Koch before I die !!!! :)

The calendar would be a great idea. I'd hate to miss a clinic that was within driving distance because I frequent the wrong store.
