Watched Billy Gibbons u tube guitar lesson, " all time favorite riff , the one to the one "
anyone explain this please, dont read music,....one to the one....sounds as though could be easier to understand :? but feels like I've put a film on halfway through :?

also watched Joe Pass lessons & ditto "numbers, numbers :? numbers :?

I believe this is what you are talking about. It's about 4:30 into the video. What I think he is talking about is hitting the same note (1) on a different string (1)creating a sliding effect. That's where the 1 to the 1 comes in. I watched this video a few times. I didn't get it right away, that's when I paused the video and reached for my "axe". I wished they showed his hand placement a little better. Seemed like more of a tease than a lesson. I still enjoy hearing it though.

Yeah it is more of a little ditti rather than an actual lesson,but I think there's more to it than what your explaining,if you could find the Joe Pass lesson you'll hear him refering to chords as numbers ie go from the 5 to the 2 then a 3 , you get what I mean ? confuses the ........ out of me
