I sold an early 70's Traynor MkIII and a first year 76? Peavey Deuce, the good one with tremelo which I regretted shortly after and still do.I also got rid of a Pan Moserite copy that was pretty funky. As Atolleter stated earlier I keep gear that"s broken etc. In the mid 70s my 60's Traynor Guitarmate was in a nightclub fire,I didn't have the heart to throw it out.Last year I brought it to a tech and with a new Vintage 30 and a little work on the electronics it was good as new.

I was with my 1st wife at the time, and she was tired of seeing my SUNN Scepter in our living room. The Fender belonged to my brother. The PA was a Shure Vocal Master. Everything in this photo is gone.

I only regret getting rid of 3 guitars.

1. My Gibson V
2. My Jackson V
3. My Squier HM III

All three I bought in the late 80's. The Gibson was used when I bought it and so was the Jackson. Oh well, life goes on.

The only gear I've ever sold was my first guitar--although I use the term loosely.

I never bonded with it, and didn't start to play much until I got my next one--a classical, and I took lessons.

I sold it for the same price I paid for it--so I came out okay.

Never missed it.
If I had it today--I wouldn't be playing it.

Had a Marshall 2x12 Combo almost 30 years , never read mag's , visited Forums , got rid of it down the Dump , bought AVT100 , still tearing me up, some of the pots could have been renewed and it prbably would have been good as new

Any others out there missing old gear

cry about gear, no. feel very stupid for letting it go, yes.

There's no use crying over spilled milk as there's already enough water in it.

An Orange Crush guitar. I sold it to get a Fender MIM. Now I regret it for it's unique Orange finish.

Well guys I've found 3 prospective purchases that will forever redeem me from past sales mistakes (of which there are far too many to list).

A 64 bluesbreaker
A 72 plexi
And a early 60's tremolux
Finaly a 76 LP custom in black with 2 p90s and gold hardware
