Really? That would be awkward.
But honestly, my dad has a great ear for music, he's picking up scales easily.

It wasn't too bad. She noodled around with what I was teaching her for about a year, then she just lost interest.

I bought my dad a VG for fathers day, he better not lose interest, or i'll lose $1700.

Update,
I forgot my grandmother on my mother's side played piano and organ. She always wanted to play guitar but her arthritis prevented her from doing so. Consider my feable attempts as a nod to her, she was the best.

He is giving me lessons. He has 4 guitars 1 acoustic, 1 electric/acoustic, A black + white electric, and an all white Fender Strat. w/ maple fretboard (Nice!). He can play all kinds of songs like : Goo Goo Dolls(Long Way Down and more, Poison, Lots of VAN HALEN,AC/DC, and lots more Best Teacher EVER!!!

My dad's a bit of a guitar player. He doesn't really play much now, but he did when he was younger and he knows enough that I can teach him easily. I still play the guitar he learned on, though. It's a 60's japanese Guild copy.
