I'll listen to some classical music, Jazz and Bluegrass. I'm not sure if bluegrass counts since guitars are involved but it depends on the song. I'll also enjoy some good acapella songs from time to time.

I listen to losts of ska roots music. Bands like The Skatalites or Prince Buster. It is predominantly horn driven but there still is a guitar in the mix. Does that count?
I listen to electronica as well like MSTRKFT, LCD Soundsystem (he uses guitar sometimes) and old Daft Punk.
It seems most music has a guitar in there somewhere.

Check out Portuguese Fado singer Mariza, there is guitar in there , but her voice ( portuguese blues ) a couple of beers , dim the lights & drift ( you wont understand a word, but she will soften you up a bit, hankies at the ready softies )

Lois Armstrong - we have all the time in the world
Also love all the big band stuff , swing etc behind Sinatra , Bobby Darin , all my Fathers influence ( great stuff now & again)

I like most of Tangerine Dream's music and I have a lot of classical cd's, my favourite being Ralph V. Williams. I also listen to jazz in it's various forms. Even dance stuff, I'm very open with my musical taste's really.

She's cool. Jelena Radan is another great Fado singer. Great girl too, so talented. A lot of fun to hang around, too.

I like jazz, especially Pete Fountain and his clarinet. Listen to some classical.

Love great keyboards. Nothing like slapping on Rick Wakeman's "Six Wives of Henry the eighth".

I listen to a lot of Jazz, especially Miles and Coltrane. As was said earlier, you can really learn a lot about phrasing from these guys . . . or steal their ideas.

If so, then what?

I like a lot of classical to chill out and a lot of C.W. Stoneking and Zero 7 can be without guitar, love them too.

Personally I listen to a little of everything except (c)Rap and Hip-Hop...which I don't consider real music (how much musical talent does it really take to download "beats off the internet"?). I listen to a lot of classical...particularly Beethoven and I've been getting into a lot of Wagner lately. I also listen to a lot of "alternative"...Celtic, Meditation, etc.. (I have some tracks with Tibetan meditation bells that's just wonderful!). I also get into a lot of jazz...both guitar and piano or horn based, Native American stuff, some of that Eastern stuff with really weird instruments that I still can't pronounce (LOL!), etc.. I really get into a lot of synth stuff like Spyro-Gyra and progressive jazz/alternative like Jon-Luc Ponty. I can even get off on some Zydeco from time to time. Of course being Polish, I can get into the occasional Polka band from time to time too :D.

Music...it's all good 8).
