I love them, very nice for the money! Much like a fender you just feel that something is missing, am I right? Can't quite put my finger on it and if I did the 'something' would prob. be differnt for everybody. I (a few days ago) tried the Classic vibe series, I tried the 50's pbass and the 60's pbass the 50's sounded better but the 60's was easier to play(?)

I also played the geddy and something was missing and I know what it was...it didn't have the snappy sound that maple [figerboard'd] basses have :? even the 60's pbass with rosewood had more of a snap than the geddy had :? :? :? :?

I'm very confused!

Also that honestly is the first time I have played a fretted (other than my own) after I got my fretless, which after I got my fretless I started really paying attention to sound, feel, and mojo of my playing and bass. I never really payed attention to the sound and mostly the action of a bass before I got my fretless. And so I got my fretless and the action was so low, I was in heaven!!! And I played my fretted after to compare the two and my action on my fretted is ultra high and it's still really hard to not get fretbuzz, I was scared to go back to fretted basses (not remembering what the action was like on other fretted bass) because they might all be like that. So I went to a music store and played a fretless which sounded like crap. They had no other fretlesses and so I picked up the geddy and fa-sham the action was slightly higher than my fretless' and no fretbuzz, tried the squires and samething ('cept they had a little but thats just my sloppy playing style, I tought myself how to play bass, so)

No more fear of fretteds!!! whoo hooo!!!!

If anybody can relate to anything I've brought up in this thread, plz share!

What kind of story is that without starting with: "Once upon a time" and ending with: "And they lived happily ever after"?

Not quite DD...

It was about how I like squires, and the geddy lee not being snappy and asking why that was. Most of all how I overcame my fears of a fretted bass. And If anybody could relate to any of the topics I covered, to share.

Sadly i dont meet ronald mcdonalds requirements.

Position already filled. Still i got plenty of time to practice guitar. Glad the bands going well mate. Jam on guitar with your bands guitarist as much as you can. It can be like having knowledge put straight into your brain sometimes.
