Robin Trower - The Fool and Me.

Got to introduce the band when I was a DJ many, many years ago. Stepped backstage, was 30 feet from Robin when they lit off this song....

Strato, cool link thanks. I'm also a huge fan of Boz Scaggs, in fact I was listening one of his albums earlier, Dig. I love to put that album through my amp, and play along.

Rhumba, Jethro Tull, now's there's a blast from the past. A friend of mine, turned me on to them a good number of years ago. In fact if memory serves me, I met the guy who played keys with Jethro Tull.

Ceri, full of useful information as usual, thanks for your imput mate.

I kid you not......... the old keys player from Tull had a sex change a few years back and is now an English old lady..... I'm serious as a heart attack here, it was in the papers over here bout 5 years ago.

I was lucky enough to see Jethro Tull in 93 and 00. My Dad always had them on when I was a kid and I grew to love them and he took me when I was 11, then as a young adult I made my own way. Ian Anderson and Martin Barre are brilliant!!

Snowy , bro , in '65 i went to dick clarks teenage extravaganza and saw the young rascals perform good lovin' i thought that was very cool at the time the drummer dino danelli would toss his sticks what seemed like twenty feet in the air and catch them and hit his crash on the beat .

Hey SBLS, how's trix dude? This story reminds me of a Motorhead gig I went to years ago, the drummer " Filthy Phil Taylor" was a nutter  He tossed a drumstick into the crowd, I was in the front row. I made a grab for the stick, and suddenly found myself under about 100 bikers  I got the stick though

SBLS, was that a live concert or was that on American Bandstand? I saw them play on his TV show. :)

I also like BeBop Deluxe...still have their Live in the Air Age lp.

The song that sticks with me is Alone Again Or by Arthur Lee and Love. I had a crush on a neighbor (unrequited) and the song was on the radio at the time (late 60s). It made a big impressin on me because of the arrangement and melody. I still listen to Forever Changes on a weekly basis; it's such a comprehensive album.
