Who knows? I can't say anything because I'll come off sounding like a sexist pig :(

Johnette Napolitano
Jennifer Batten
Allison Robertson
Sue Foley
Chrissy Hynde
Kim Deal

Women were sidelined during the early development of electric guitar styles by guys who were sexist pigs.

Maybe you should think of something to post that doesn't sound like an invitation to a flame war, chaos.

Susan Tedeschi - http://susantedeschi.com/ - more Country and Blues - but handles a Telecaster very nicely, or a Les Paul.

And she has a fairly good guitarist as a hubby - Derek Trucks.

You mean Ann Wilson....Nancys sister.

There've actually been quite a few. I just can't remember their names right now.

April Lawton! i've been trying to remember her name for a couple hours.

She was so hot during the early days of rock guitar (in a band called Ramatam) that all kinds of stupid rumors got spread about her... everything from "Hendrix taught her how to play" on the mild side to "she's not really a woman but a guy in drag" on the stupid sexist pig side.

Check out Lori Linstruth if you're into metal shred.

How about Debbie Davies? When she played in Albert Collins' band he would have her kick $@! and humble the male rock star wannabes.
