Johnny B. Goode -
You picked an outstanding user name! Isn't it ironic as it gets that a song that is that much of an icon to the rock & roll standard never made it to the top ten?

My "favorite" dead rock stars are Kurt Cobain and Jimi Hendrix

After reading this thread, here are the *new* Rockstar Rules:

1. NO Heroin!

2. NO Planes (at least no pivate jets...)

3. Drive a tank, that'll insure no car-crash deaths.

4. If you're gonna get wasted, make sure someone's there to save you from a vomitty grave of suffocation.

If these were followed, We'd still have names like:

Jimi Hendrix
Kurt Cobain
Layne Staley (A.I.C.)
Brad Nowell (Sublime)
Jim Morrison (though they say he faked it, & moved to a ranch about a half hour from me, lol)

I never used heroin, I never drove a tank.
I also think that if you changed anything about any of the ways these musicians lived they wouldn't have gotten where they did in the musical food chain.
There is a definite correlation with the things I shouldn't have been doing and the notoriety that I have aquired in music and other infuences or general impact I have made on other people ...
You only get to live once.
