I just found out a few hours ago that the guitar player I was looking for is named Leroy King. In the early to mid 80's he was in a band called RC Finnigan and he was absolutely amazing. He was Ray Flacke, Brent mason , and Jimi Hendrix all rolled into one. I am curious whatever happened to this guy. He played a Les Paul but then moved to a Stratocaster. Please help if you can.

That was the leader of the band. I'm looking for the lead guitarist for that band.
Thanks for the help.

I'm not much into his music but I think he's part of the western music society. Maybe you can google that up to see what he's done recently.

There is an e-mail link on this page. Why don't you ask him?

I did about a week ago. No response yet. I cannot believe it's this difficult to find this guy considering how amazing he was. I actually thought I may have tracked him down at one point. I found his name associated with a country band called "Straight Up" in Lansing Michigan. I'm not sure if that was him or not but I remember someone saying he lived in Lansing years ago. I tried to find that particular band but had no luck. There were other versions on myspace but not that one with the members it listed.
So, there ya have it......no Leroy King. If the guy knew how hard I was trying to find him, I'm sure he'd wonder if I'm a stalker. The truth is that I want to see if such a great player is still active and I'd like my 15 yr son to see him play. He hears me talk about him and I need to prove to him that Leroy King did actually exist and was a great guitar player. Who knows? Maybe I've just got too much time on my hands.
