He is (was) a monster guitar player of our time. Poor guy is falling apart now with cancer and hip replacements. How old is he now?

If you say that you haven't heard EVH, then you probably just don't have a song to go with the name. But I think he's a very good guitarist. And his songs are great. But I would not say that he is the best. His tapping is definitely a unique addition to his music as well.

He did alot for technique, just nothing that I'm interested in. I would say I respect him, but his music does nothing for me.
