Its hard to pick the most, but if I had to pick, I would say when I saw Lollapalooza II. Pearl Jam was just becoming huge, but the lineup was made before this happened, so they were on second and only had about a 30-40 minute set time...

On the day I went, Eddie Vedder was stuck in traffic from doing some live morning radio interviews and was going to be late getting to the stage...

Chris Cornell and Matt Cameron of Soundgarden came out, and as many of you may know, Chris and Matt from Soundgarden, and Jeff, Mike, and Stone from Pearl Jam also played on the the Temple of the Dog album together, but this was a tribute band that only played a few live shows...but on that day, all of us in attendance at Lollapalooza II for the Washington DC/Baltimore Area were treated to an impromptu Temple of the Dog performance of Hunger Strike, but without Eddie Vedder...at the end of the song, Eddie appears on stage, out of breath from running to the stage due to being late for the start of their set...

The rest of the show was great too...Soundgarden, Lush, Jesus & Mary Chain, Ice Cube, the Red Hot Chili Peppers...and it was the first time I was formally introduced to Ministry, one of the greatest industrial/metal bands ever...

I saw this same show at the New Orleans lake front... what an amazing day that was!

Simon Rattle conducting the birmingham symphony orchestra at cannon hill park in 96. They were on a island in the middle of the lake with all these fireworks going off behind em. The most powerfull live show i've ever seen.

November 9, 1976 at the Selland Arena in Fresno: Boston, Bob Seger and Black Sabbath. Oh, wow man.............. It was my first but certainly not my last. 33 years later and I'm still going to shows, I just took my 15 year old son and 24 year old daughter to see Papa Roach, Buck Cherry & Avenge Sevenfold. Fact is tonight I'm taking the wife to see the Moody Blues or what's left of them. I hope they don't trip and break a hip or something.

My most memorable two, in this order.

Styx, date ? /midsummer '77. They were touring in support of the Grand Illusion album which I loved. The show was at the Fairgrounds in Marshfield WI and of course my folks said no, their rule was you had to be 18 to go to a rock show (I was 13, dating myself) So my friend and I bought the tix-$6 I think. We went to the show and each told our parents we were staying overnight at the other's house. Of course we got caught and grounded but it was worth it. The bill was Starcastle/Badboy/Styx. That was the first show I'd ever seen, first time I'd smelled "those funny cigarettes" too.

KISS, LaCrosse WI, Feb '83. That was my first KISS show, I'd finally hit the 18 yr old mark so I could go. It was the Creatures Tour and the band was on a downward slide in popularity after losing Ace/Peter. We got very close and it was huge for me to see them for the first time. Not the best show of theirs I've seen but a milestone in it being the first one. The opening band was the Plasmatics.... , god they were awful. But once they were done we still had a blast. Than I let my buddy drive part of the way home, in my car, and he pegged a deer. Life in WI...

Strato, that New Year's 78 show with the Blues Bros and the Dead must have been awesome. I have a dvd of the BB performance from that night but being there would have been huge.
