did you guys see the new rose gold strat from guitar center?

not sure I would buy as it looks a bit too pink. At the same time I did think it looked pretty sharp though.

No and just searched their site and didn't see it. Got a link?

Thanks, for the link avenger79. I’m guessing the sound from those pickups would be fine. As for the look, not liking rose gold to begin with, I think it looks kinda dirty and ugly. Perhaps. a continued gold theme with the hardware would have helped. But, each to their own, and photos don’t always do justice. Of course, some like a guitar that looks ugly in order to make a statement. :P Sometimes, that statement works, but this one I don’t think will gather that kind of attention. I’m sure it looks good in a case, and beauty is in the eye of the beholder. YMMV

And come on Fender. Who wants four different wheels on a car? Let’s match those slapped in pickup covers or give them all different colours to get funky. Sheesh!?

The color seems vaguely reminiscent of Burgundy Mist Metallic.

We know Fender is famous for car colours so these (and others come to mind):

The best known GM Canyon Coral (although 1955 was simply Coral):

Chrysler Desert Coral/
(sometimes as a Desert Beige or Desert Tan which can be totally unalike or similar. Go figure.)

And here's one (Eastertime Coral) that, like some guitars, didn't suit this '68 muscle car.

I see what you mean avenger79. I like Shoreline Gold better. Just my opinion.

Ya... I'm not feeling the love.

But I like Antigua, so there's no accounting for taste.

Thanks for the link avenger79. I would play that. Purchase? It would have to be a great player to get over the odd color.

I just got the rose gold. I thought at first it was just an ok color but it has grown on me. I love the feel of the neck and after a few adjustments the pickups are amazing. I also can't complain since it was a wedding gift from the wife.
