I looked outside and, yep, it's dark. Good night, Lizards.

A fitting little tune to listen to just before bed time, The Beatles from Abbey Road, "Golden Slumbers". Image

Before the daylight came it was night. Or was it the other way around?

Have a good one (morning or night) depending on where you are in this world of ours.

Getting ready to call it a day, even though it's morning. Back on nights again, probably for until the end of summer, unless something comes up to where I have to be up in the morning. Good night.

The best thing about being retired and sleeping is that, for most of us, the alarm clock is retired too.
Happy dreams all.

Yes, I love not getting up to an alarm clock too. Now my dogs are the only things that wake me up and that's not until around 9:00 when they need to go out. They have this routine that I think is funny. They are two year old German Shepherds from the same litter. They do the same thing every time. First the female jumps on my bed and gives me a tiny lick on my cheek and then rests her head on my shoulder. If that doesn't work, she jumps down and her brother (93lbs) jumps up, puts his head on my pillow and licks my face until I get up. It works every time for them so then I get up and let them out. Our third one sleeps upstairs in my son's room so she doesn't get into the act. If you're a dog person like I am, it's a much nicer way to wake up than to an alarm clock. :D

I enjoyed that scenario, Marky. When I was 14 I slept like a log. Even a tree feller with a chainsaw couldn't wake me. My dog Skipper used to come up into the bed under the covers that I always kicked out from the end of the bed. He'd hit me with the doggie breath, and that was enough for me. Eew! Needless to say it was enough for my Mom too.
