Yes, I know I butchered the solo. I can play better than that and would like to make another video, but this the only copy I have available until I am able to access a video camera again. I need some feedback on my singing voice because there is something about it that I really don't like. I know this is a guitar forum, but any kind of criticism would be helpful. Thank you.

That's pretty ok! Not much wrong with it. I always hate it when I hear my own voice recorded, too.

Anyway, things you could improve:
Use your abs.
Stick to the origional melody more.
When you don't stick to the origional melody (so when you do these "tricks' with you voice,), be sure you hit the notes clean and obvious.
Last but not least: finish your notes, it will sound way better when you hit the final notes longer.

not that I'm a professional singer, but you could try these things, see if it works for you.

Thanks for your input. I really appreciate it. :) I'm going to do a better recording next time and warm up my vocals before I do this again.
