That's true. I don't own one, and was told by the Texas state govt recently to either get one or move.

Ha! :D

For the benefit of non-Texans on the forum, I should point out that 01GT eibach and I are exaggerating...but not by much!
Isn't there a town in Arizona, I think, that has an ordinance requiring residents to own a firearm? I remember hearing about it in the news a couple of years ago. 8)

I am curious, was the Clapton gun shaped like a Strat, ES335 or Les Paul? Or maybe a Martin OM 42 or 00028?

I have two 9mm automatic pistols: a Taurus and a Hi-Point.
I also have a Hi-Point 9mm carbine.
A Marlin 336 .35 caliber rifle.
A mossberg 12ga and Remington 16 ga shotguns.
A Remington 22 caliber rifle.

And a Taurus .38 special concealed carry revolver.

Transplanted Texan, you know....

AR30 Which of the rounds was that chambered in? I used to have one of them in Lapua 338 and the rounds are hard to find. Thats what I sold when I bought My Savage 7mm Remington Mag.

I guess Mississippi is alot like texas. Its pretty much required that you own atleast one.

Here are two of mine:

Walther P-22

and my Kimber Custom II stainless .45

I also have a modest collection of rifles and shotguns. I havent hunted in years, but refuse to sell them.

One worth mention is the remington .22 speedmaster I cut down to a pistol grip:

why would this be a risky post?

anyway, i live in southern illinois, and though i am not a big hunter, i have hunted a few times. We own a 12 gauge shotgun, not sure of the brand, and a ruger .22.

My dad also moved close to Birmingham, so he bought himself a pistol. A Smith & Wesson i think. He doesn't exactly live in the best part of town.

I just wasn't sure if it was a little bit risky talking about guns etc, seems okay though!

It's quite interesting, some of the guns you guys have are gorgeous. It's also quite interesting because if I were to have some of those in my house, I'd be sent to prison!

If any of you guys are ever in Vegas you should check out The Gun Store here. You can shoot full auto anything from Tommy guns to AK47's. It's really cool. 8)
