I am pretty sure he is joking as well, but he does bring up a good point. I have heard of pedal and amp modders becoming uspet after they post a mod for a pedal on a forum, then some time later they may find out that someone else is now doing these mods and taking credit...yes, that sucks that someone rips you off, but if you put things on a WORLDWIDE, PUBLIC FORUM before copyrighting, trademarking, and/or patenting something that is new, innovative, and perhaps revolutionary....these things can, and sometimes will, happen. However, in the case of pedal and amp modding, sometimes people can get carried away in forgetting that modding pedals and amps is based in electronics, which is a branch of physics, and you can't really patent certain things in science... :roll:
