I believe the bridge is based off the DiMarzio if I'm not mistaken. That'd be a good starting point, imo. How do you like it so far?

Congrats on your acquisition! I own a Jagstang myself and i like it. I have not changed the pickups yet and plan to do the same thing eventually. If memory serves me correctly Kurt used a superdistortion in his, I've hear some good reviews about adding the Hot Rails from Seymour Duncan in them.

Super Distortion Bridge and PAF Pro neck is a good combo IMO.

Congrats. I've owned a handfull of Jagstangs and built one myself.
I'm surprised you want to change the neck pickup? Its based on a Texas Hot Single (i believe) and most people think it is one of the best features of the JS.
The bridge pup however is a little lacklustre to say the least, but i will say swapping out that crappy green capacitor on the tone pot for the correct value Orange Drop cap does make an improvement.

If you do upgrade make sure you save the old pups because at the rate things are going a stock Jagstang is going to be worth some cool monies in a few years time.
I used a Duncan Custom in the bridge of the one i built, its a good allround PAF style pup similar to the Duncan JB and Pearly Gates. The DiM super distortion is okay but i think it lacks the tonal range and subtleties of them other pickups. As for the neck, the DiM YJM is an excellent noiseless single.
