I don't know if I am excited, but its good to see them back together. I have seen them a few times when I lived in Nashville, and one of those times, if perhaps not both, Bela Fleck came out and jammed with them...

YES!!!!!!! I love the Phish haha they are absolutely one of my favorite jam bands. I would really like to see them live sometime, I've only heard albums and watched concert tapes.

Just heard the first few tracks from last night's show, and I must say that they are absolutely on top of their game. Trey nailed everything, Page and Mike were completely in sync with each other, and Fishman didn't miss a beat.

They boys are back, ladies and gentlemen.

Definately. They sound great. I'm listening to NICU again right now. What really made my day yesterday is that they opened with Fluffhead, the song I was hoping they would open with. And it was so cool of them to make the entire concert (and the next 2) available for free download. What other band does that?

I know man, I love 'em. Chalk Dust Torture, Stash, and Suzy Greenberg were definitely my favorites from the show. Amazing is all I gotta say.

I'd say my favorites from the show were Fluffhead and The Divided Sky. Right now I'm listening to their Saturday show.

Have you tried playing any of their stuff? Most of it is relatively easy, but that to me is what makes them so amazing. Mike's Song has one of my favorite riffs ever and so does Chalk Dust Torture.

I'm really excited about them touring again.. I've seen like 15 of their shows dating back to fall 1997. Not to mention I've got hundereds of their bootleg cassettes (that date back to their debut).
Never had a bad show yet!! LOL.. I'll definitely be checking out them freebies..

I love Phish. My first show was the Clifford Ball in '96, my last show was Deer Creek in '02. I have tickets to see them at Star Lake in June.

Mike's wife is a bright, Columbia University trained attorney who worked for a time in the law firm of a friend of mine. She left the firm to 'retire' to Vermont and have a family when the band 'packed it in'. He was, to say the least, quite disappointed at her leaving his section. In that, is the estimation of her ability because he is one of the best in his field, and a tough one to please. There are few he gives the nod to.

The story of this renaissance begins over a casual conversation at one of their homes sort of like' maybe we should go back to playing again.'

I guess the rest is history for all you absolutely overjoyed "Phisheads"

Doc
