Has anyone here bought an instructional video from this sight? If so, did you have problems downloading your purchase? I have been trying since Sunday to download avideo I purchased with no luck. I know the files are quite large, but 2 days! Or did I get scammed out of my money$$?

I have followed all the instructions and have all the computer power / processor recommendations as well.

Thanks all.

I would look around on the website and see if they have a FAQ section or tech support that you can contact. Hope you get it up and running.

I have used it - You should have the latest apple player for it to work correctly,

It should only take a minute to download.

I finally got my video downloaded last night. Seems the problem was at our end with an overloaded ISP. Anyway now I can start learning my 1st full song.

Enjoy your lesson!

Great site, but not much new songs lately. Their tutorials are great and for free......!

Thanks. I'm enjoying it a lot. Some of the tabs out there and 1 tab book I have on RUSH were pretty darn close but none were exact. One tab really missed on the solo. Some tabs also made parts more complicated than they really are. These are the reasons I really wanted this instruction.

Yes I reviewed their other songs available on the site and agree they need more songs, especially R&B / Blues - very limted in that catagory.

Hey Ken,

Did you try a lesson from Alex Lifeson? (Tabbook from Rush....)

Great band, saw them 2007 in Oberhausen Germany.

Yes I saw them in May 2007 here in Edmonton Alberta. Been waiting to see them since they released Moving Pictures in 1981 - and the y opened with LIMELIGHT - my favorite song.

I just have the AL video lesson from the title here. I don't have any other AL instruction. You mean there is more?

Thanks.

Ken

I don't know if there are any lessons from Al, but on Youtube I found a few lessons from different people. Some great, some not so great.

I was lucky to see Rush several times over here in Holland. First time was in 1979, at the Pinkpop festival.

Nowadays I prefer to go to concerts in Germany: Rush, Dream Theater, etc. (The audience in Germany is not so "pushy" as over here in Holland). Some other bands I like are Marillion, Porcupine Tree, Rainbow, Pink Floyd.

Besides ivideosongs I am using Guitar Pro, also very helpfull.

Tot kijk,

Marcel

I think Guitar Pro is a good "investment". It has a lot of features and you can download tabs from various sites. I also use it as a kind of "backup band" to play along to.

I will have to try GP5 soon. \I've seen a bit of what it can do and it looks amazing.
