I dont know. People are starting to just not care about dumb topics and only post on things they actually know about. :P

I agree, like the pricing posts. Those are getting worn out. 8)

It is FAR better that people selectively post rather than just cranking out inane, "keyboard diarrhea".

Too many new comers trying to build up " picks " next to their names resulting in poor topics to respond to. I for one have backed away from the forum just for that reason. My time is better spent playing the guitar than answering poor topics.

The pricing posts are getting old to be honest. If you don't like the price hikes, then don't buy. It's as simple as that!

I have to agree on this one. The prices went up...get over it. They went up on everything else too, do you write in to Post Foods because Cereals went up in price ?

I've been on a Politics kick, I don't like to do that here. This is like my favorite bar that I'd never get thrown out of. Other places could ban me and I'd get right over it, over here I'd feel like I let Brad down.

The inane topics from kids who should be reading rather than blabbing only kinda bother me. It's easy enough to ignore them, when they don't get the reactions they're looking for they leave.

Maybe the world-wide economy mess has some folks thinking about stuff other than guitar-oriented-chat?

That would be true with a couplel people I know, both of whom have had to take 2nd jobs recently. No time for guitar when you work all day and then end up working 4 - 5 nights a week (6 hour shifts) with a clieaning serivce. The one guy is doing 16 hour days and his regular day job is pushing him hard as well.

In my case, a combination - I'm responding less to inane topics and those the asker could as easiliy look up. At the same time, I'm trying to use less power in my house and yet practice more. So for three weeks now, I've logged zero TV time and almost no computer time at night. But I have tried to do at least an hour a night with the guitar.
