Sorry if this offends any Fender owners...I played a Ric 330 the other day. I like the small neck and it has a cool, distinctive sound. They seem to be put together very well also. What a cool guitar. Anyone else like or dislike them?

Hey MB, nice guitar dude. I played one a few months ago, I'm no expert on guitars. But I really liked the Riki, I loved the feel of it, as well as the cool sound.

Yeah man, always wanted a ricky, it's on my wanted list.
As been for a long time, like from when I used to watch Pete Townsend in his early days with the Who... :D

Being Left Handed I special ordered a Rick 370/12. I waited 11 1/2 months to get it. While Rick's are very well built high quality guitars I just could not get used to the the thinness of the neck. I found it extremely difficult to play clean chords. So I sold it.

I have one, I use it quite often. A 370-12 string. It takes some adjustment to switch from a regular guitar to playing the Ric 12 with it's skinny neck, but I can manage.

They are such beautiful guitars, don't you think?

Unfortunately, out of my price range.

The singer for, The kings of last call, plays a Ric 330. Classy guitars! I absolutely love them!

The only bass I have is a Ric.

They are classic (and STEREO!).

My short list of wants includes a 12-string and the Ric 360/12 in Fireglo or Jetglo is classic. I just don't expect to use a 12 enough to justify the expense and I was leaning toward the Strat XII, but Fender's new price increase makes the Ric more competitive now.

Mine's from 1980 too, co-inky-dinky.

Have you ever tried using the stereo outputs, putting each pickup to separate amps with different effects, etc?

Yes, and Nick just restrung that particular guitar a few weeks ago with 11's which really woke that thing up -- as much as I'm a diehard Fender lover I certainly have to give credit where credit's due and that is one *VERY* cool guitar!
