I was just wondering if anyone has seen these new Gibsons. What do you think the reasoning is behind these? I personally don't care for the look but what do you guys think.

I guess at least they're trying something different. Either you like or you don't. I wish Fender would come out with something new and different once in a while. Maybe bring back a discontinued model like the Cyclone.

Aw, that just made me throw up.

Gibson is really great at making really ugly guitars sometimes.

I wish they would, that guitar has become my grail.

They also have a Holy V. I'd want one if the had a tone knob.

bad spew.

good to see they are doing something different tho. iv always thought guitars could have more design put into them.

i see most guitars like a sketch on a canvas instead of a whole canvas painting with colors, pictures, designs, patterns planed for 5 years and them another 5 years perfecting it.

Well, essentially--it's a chambered guitar without the top & back.. Saves money for them, but they charge more for it--makes sense to them, I guess.

hmmmmmmmmm let me see.......................yep I hate too! I think I will buy up some Fender Stock as I see an increase in sales this year if this is indicative of their models to come.....

BUT since this is a hard rocker, we should be used to some crazy designs.
