Used to be a gibson man but I've grown bored of the Les Paul and the SG is just...ew. I like the semi hollows and suff but meh.

Only Gibson I'd own is a Thunderbird.

Dunno what it is about Fenders I like...

I like them both, but a Fender will always be my main axe (knock on wood, hehe).

I don't care much for the Gibson solid bodies, the only solid I might consider having is the Les Paul, but then somebody would probably have to give me one. I love their semi and hollowbodies, their the best out of all their guitars in my opinion, 335's, super 400's, 175, 295, I would have them all if I could.

What I love about Fender is that they keep the prices pretty reasonable, unlike Gibson who thinks their better than the rest and hike their prices to high heaven just so they can keep their beloved reputation going.

Also Gibson customer service sucks

Gibson Basses are awful, Thunderturds, Sg's, LP's, all of em. Soulless, toneless mud...worse is given how much they charge they must really think they're something. I just don't get it. They should just give up on the low end and stop embarrasing themselves.

They make some guitars that I don't mid the sound of, but I still prefer Fenders there too.

I have both Gibson's (LP and 336) and Fender's (2 Strats) and I like them all. I have in the past found guitars by both companies that I thought were really bad. I t depends on the guitar.

well, to be fair to both sides, you can get a quality guitar from both... but to be completely honest... in my humble opinion... when you get gibson, all you're paying for is the name... seriously, fender gives you a quality product that is instantly recognizable... some people see a gibson and are like, "what the fish is that?" (like my editing?) people look on the stage and see a strat, and they know what they're looking at... which is one of the reasons that i HATE guitar hero... WHERE'S THE FENDER??? who needs flying V? seriously, it's not the 80s anymore... wow... i just realized that i've been typing for quite a while... i didn't realize i had that much to say.... oh well...
