I'm going to recommend a little less known band

Everyone who likes Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix etc. should listen to Kingston Walls three albums: I, II and Tri-Logy

Kingston Wall is a great psychedelic/prog rock band from Finland. I would say
that they are the best band that has ever crawled from Finland.
Sadly their lead singer/guitarist Petri Walli committed suicide in '95 so no new music from them.
