08 MIM Strat - midnight wine / maple - no mods. Line 6 Spider III 30 watt with FBV express pedal.

Going to look into a Tube Screamer pedal and a chorus / flange pedal as I can't control the amp effects while playing.

I'm just learning - nothing fancy here, but the amp can easily fill my small house. :D

I use 2 amps and a small pedal board

1992 Marshall JCM 900 MKIII 50 watt head w/1960a 4x12 cab
1964 Fender Bassman w/2x12 Fender cab

I use an a/b box - I use a Crybaby, Boss Delay, Blues Driver, Tube Screamer

Main Guitars - Normally play my '75 Strat or my '91 Strat - recently been playing my Les Paul and Paul Reed Smith a good bit

Sittin around the house, I have been jamming alot with my '08 MIA Strat with my G-DEC - lots of fun!

I tend to use my MiM Std. or my 1961 Gibson Melody Maker through my Marshall AVT50H. And occasionally I'll hook up my Dunlop Wah or Starcaster Flanger (given to me by a friend, pretty decent).

I don't usually find myself using any other bells or whistles for doing praise band music. Although, that wah may come in handy if used right...hm...

Mainly at the moment:

2008 Gibson ES 355
1983 US Strat
Taylor 414ce acoustic
Hot Rod Deville 212, probably soon changing over to a Blues Deluxe with enclosure though, to save my back!

Usual pedals, don't use them too much, apart from the Boss Tuner. Best invenstment you can make.

I play in two covers bands, need to be pretty versatile! Pop, blues, country, rock, bit of everything...

Some type of metal/sludge crap is what we play, on a good day, though those have been few and far between because the new drummer has no clue on what a drummer should do...the drums do not follow the guitar, and if I hit a chord, then try to let it ring out a bit, the drums stop because the drummer cannot keep time without a guitar playing...BUT he just got a double bass pedal the other week, which he thinks will be the magic bullet that will make him play...if these guys weren't my friends, I wouldn't put up with this crap...luckily its just a friendly jam session, otherwise I'd have a new band if I was trying to get somewhere with a band...If the drummer sounds bad, it was worse when he played guitar, cause he thinks since he has a Floyd Rose, once he locks it, he doesn't have to tune it for at least a month...Seriously, we had this conversation once...
ME: Someone is out of tune, but its not me, cause I just disconnected from a tuner...
HIM: Well, its not me, cause I tuned last week...
ME: Well, its definitely not me, cause I just tuned this with a tuner...
HIM: But I'm in tune cause I tuned it last week...
ME: If you tuned it last week, and I just tuned my now, then I am not the one that is out of tune.
HIM: I tuned it and locked it last week, so I am in tune.
ME: Fine, I'll just tune to you then...
....The for the next few months, he seems to think no one can remember the riffs from the previous week, when in reality, we were probably in a different tuning every week since he tuned his guitar a few weeks ago...SORRY, got a bit sidetracked...[/quote]

I play a Floyd Rose and got to laugh about that. It does stay in tune really well - when I can get all 6 strings in tune at the same time. Not something I want to sit and do with people waiting for me. I leave it at home - is great to play on by myself when being a little off isn't too noticable but when I go out to jam I grab the Strat - a couple minutes with the tuner and it is ready to go.
