Anything you use to jam or play live. Don't list everything you own, just the gear you use most. If you don't have a current set up, tell me your dream set up!

And please specify the style music you play. If you can't, then say what mix of music you sound like, like bands and such.

Oh, and rock on guys!

I play alternative post hardcore, trippy stuff. Kind of like a mix of Brand New, MGMT, Underoath, Circa Survive, and such. I don't really know how to label what I play.. I'm just glad I have a drummer that plays as strange as I do.

My rig which is almost done: (I'll include what is going to be added also)

Guitars:
1.My main guitar - Fender MIM Strat (White with black racing stripes, Lace Red Red Dually in bridge, silver in middle, and blue in neck. Tremol-no, locking tuners)
2.Fender MIM Strat (Red, Stock Pickups, Maple Neck)
3.Fender Jaguar HH (Black, Emg 81/85 pickups)

Amps-
Dirty Channel
1.Marshall Vintage Modern (50 Watt) on top of:
2. Avatar 2 speaker vintage cabinet ( Celestion Vintage 30 and Celestion G12H30)

Clean Channel
1.Fender '65 Twin Reverb Reissue (2 Speaker, 85 Watts)

Pedals-
I really don't feel like listing. But I have this Electro-harmonix mini-synth pedal that gives me endless posibilities, but doesn't sacrifice tone.

I mainly use a 1978 Takamine 12 String (Pre-lawsuit Guild copy) for my acoustic stuff. I need the 6 drone strings to maintain my style of music in an acoustic set.

For metal its a clapton modded MIM with the boost on full and the amps set flat out on the middle control too. The speakers are the 2x12 celestion g75's in the combo and a 4x12 with 2x fane 12s, a greenback and a 70's carsbro no name thing.
It also does a fair to good 70's blues/rock tone.
For clean stuff its a blues jr with a reverb, delay and tremolo pedals.

For practice, my 50's strat and/or my Peavey Predator, Line 6 Spyder III 120 and FBV.

Live, the Strat, JCM dsl 2000 50w/ or 65 dlx reverb through a Marshall 412. Whaterver other guitars I feel like playing at the time.

Post-punk/hardcore/experimental.

Yea!

I tend to play my Teles and Blackheart amps when I am at home, but when I jam with the dudes I have been jamming with for a few years now, I use this setup:
-Hohner L-75, its a Les Paul copy I have had for 20years that I may soon retire, but it still plays and sounds pretty good...
-Rogue 120 watt 2X12 combo, basically the cheapest amp with the most wattage and speakers I could find a few years ago when I needed to get a loud amp quick...
-Boss NS-2
-Boss MT-2 Modded by Keeley
-Conquest Cables
-V-picks...medium pointed

Some type of metal/sludge crap is what we play, on a good day, though those have been few and far between because the new drummer has no clue on what a drummer should do...the drums do not follow the guitar, and if I hit a chord, then try to let it ring out a bit, the drums stop because the drummer cannot keep time without a guitar playing...BUT he just got a double bass pedal the other week, which he thinks will be the magic bullet that will make him play...if these guys weren't my friends, I wouldn't put up with this crap...luckily its just a friendly jam session, otherwise I'd have a new band if I was trying to get somewhere with a band...If the drummer sounds bad, it was worse when he played guitar, cause he thinks since he has a Floyd Rose, once he locks it, he doesn't have to tune it for at least a month...Seriously, we had this conversation once...
ME: Someone is out of tune, but its not me, cause I just disconnected from a tuner...
HIM: Well, its not me, cause I tuned last week...
ME: Well, its definitely not me, cause I just tuned this with a tuner...
HIM: But I'm in tune cause I tuned it last week...
ME: If you tuned it last week, and I just tuned my now, then I am not the one that is out of tune.
HIM: I tuned it and locked it last week, so I am in tune.
ME: Fine, I'll just tune to you then...
....The for the next few months, he seems to think no one can remember the riffs from the previous week, when in reality, we were probably in a different tuning every week since he tuned his guitar a few weeks ago...SORRY, got a bit sidetracked...

'08 Am. Std Sienna Sunburst with Schaler locking strap locks (only mod).
1- First pedal in chain is a Maxon OD-9 modded by Yonce (Yonce.com).
2- Second in chain is a 535Q Cry-Baby wah.
3- Third is a Pro-Co RAT distortion pedal.
4- Forth is a Digitech Digital Delay (stereo) pedal.
Split the signal from the delay pedal into a '73 Twin-Reverb, and the other signal into a Super Champ XD.

I'm really happy with this setup. I like the tone of the Super Champ, and I like the beef of the Twin. With both on, I get all of the highs and lows.
Thanks for letting me share.
