Hi gang, I was curious if someone could help me ID this MIDI setup. I got this 80's guitar about 8 years ago, and it came with one of those old GTM-6 processors that were marketed by Takamine/Ovation and Charvel. The box never worked (I think it was damaged during shipment), so the guitar just sat in the closet. I dug it out today, and looked under the hood... and I've never seen anything like this!

The trem bridge has bare lead wires running across what looks like brass contacts on the intonation sliders. The wires run to a processing box in the pickup bay, and then the switches and pots all run into that same box. The box says Made in West Germany. That's all I know!

Any help would be much appreciated!!

-Mike

I kinda figured it may be an old Shadow, but like you said there ain't nuttin about those old systems on their site. I guess maybe they aren't too proud of that model??? lol I really couldn't find anything that looked like that system anywhere online at all. One thing I found was a reference to a brand named Ultrasonic that made pickups in Germany. I don't know if that was them or not.
