Gary is just a killer player no matter what ax he uses, Paul,Tele or Strat he just pulls a killer tone from them all. He really has the Strat screaming here. I wish he would come back to the states, but he says its just to expensive to tour here anymore. I wish he would double bill with Beck that would be my dream show.

Hey Ceri, The fourth one along there? Lenny Henry? I didn't know he played.

Hi Rhumba: it does look a bit like Lenny Henry, doesn't it?

I got a little carried away with this ( ). Want a few more guitar face emoticons? Try these:

...I'd better stop there. A very special prize to anyone who can name all the face-pullers in both posts. Most of them are playing Fenders...

And now we have to decide what each emoticon is actually expressing. SRV for example is easy: that's the emoticon for "this guitar smells awful!". And Rory's emoticon says "you need more fibre in your diet".

I wonder if there's something more sensible I'm meant to be doing?

Cheers - C

I see:
Gene Simmons, EVH, Jimmy Page, B.B. King, Jimi Hendrix and Joe Bonamassa in the first one and:
Steve Vai, Duane Allman, Keith Richards, Rory Gallagher, Pete Townshend, Robert Randolph?, Bruce Springsteen and SRV

How many did I get right?

One wrong - though I'm impressed you got Bonamassa from that blurry photo...!

Cheers - C

PS: though I'd definitely have included a Robert Randolph emoticon if I'd realised the potential that gentleman has to offer in the field:

Well, I have the old nut from my Tele, replaced by the one Niki made. Of course, it's too heavy to post - but you're welcome to come and collect it...
