We just posted THREE new job openings for the web team today so I figured I'd spread the word. Relocation is not included for most of these spots and they are pretty specialized roles so it's probably a longshot here, but they're pretty killer opportunities particularly for those with the requisite background who also happen to be enthused about all things guitar and amps. Plus, you'll get the honor of reporting to yours truly and regularly freshening my coffee. (Just kidding.) :-)

Anyway ... hop over to http://www.fender.com/careers for the details.

Well, the good news is that even if these roles are not a fit for you you'll still benefit anyway. More web staff equals more cool web features for you! :-)

Hi Brad, what are the chances of working for Fender in Scottsdale (or any facility) as an in-house mechanical technician? I've been in the commercial/industrial HVAC-R trade for over 30 years servicing, troubleshooting and repairing all types of systems, boilers, pumps, exhast systems, ice machines, restaurant equipment, etc. etc, etc, & have owned my own business since 1995. I looked in the 'careers' section but found nothing but business management and sales oriented jobs. Colorado is great place to live but the old bones would appreciate a warmer climate and working for Fender would be a wonderfull thing, not to mention the economy has put a real damper on most small business owners (you may remember me, the guy who tried to 'hawk' his masterbuilt Showmaster...and asked that you delete the thread...yes, times are tough!!) .... as long as you mentioned jobs at Fender, I thought I'd ask......Thanks for your time....Doc

Brad, I worked for 30 years as a Facility Maint. Manager 4 at Louisiana State University. I posses many skills such as working with the public as a PR person and managed a large workforce. My duties included but not limited to managing a large budget and computer presentations such as Power point etc. Contact me if interested and I will send my resume! Thanks!

Anyhow. Let's hope these job openings contradict some of the darker speculations about the Company going on right now.

I'm happy to continue in my present post of "loyal customer", both online and realworld. My only skill is typing fast...

Guys, it's always a good idea to keep an eye on our Careers section and keep an eye out for roles that match your specific skillset -- we've actually had some fantastic opportunities in the past year. As a general rule if you think your skills and background meet the role, definitely submit a resume! It certainly never hurts, right?

I'd love to apply... but why limit the location? Surely it's a job you could do from anywhere in the world...?

I sent my son the Internship in Marketing posting. He will definitely be applying when he is a junior. He's currently a freshman majoring in audio engineering but is switching his major to advertising.

i'm digging deep into this old post...
just was curious to know if someone had already searched something related to *Internship*.

i uploaded my resume in the *Career* section. and i see no result. the opening for internship is still open. so it is making me feel as i was not suited for the post of an intern. anyways i was just curious as to what goes on during the internship, so that i may know, what i'll be missing...

Don't know, unfortunately, varunag. It's a large organization and I can only speak to the web-team-specific positions.
