Hi there people, I might be buying my first fender in the near future :D (yay)!
But I wanna know some things about it, since I'm buying it from some sort of dutch E-bay. So, what can you tell me when I give you these pics, and this link:

and:
http://www.marktplaats.nl/index.php?url ... aster.html

please, tell me, is it MIM?MIA? new? 60/70/80/90? Is it even a real fender?
And, more importantly, is it a good buy?

Thanks, now I can trust it's real. I'm still getting contact with the guy.
This site isn't like e-bay, really, because it's more meant to bring potential buyers/sellers in contact with eachother and it's less commercial.

I'll be visiting the seller by train, try it out and maybe even buy it. But first I'm gonna get myself the serial number so I can track it down with that guitartracker project thingy.

I love the look of that guitar TJ, I don't understand much Dutch. But in the description it mentions Fender USA, for 300 euros it would appear a steal. Good luck, let us know how you get on.

All of the guitars below were bought on ebay; you just need to be careful who you buy from and use Paypal.

I bought a MIM Strat on ebay and have no problems with it or with the seller. Just make sure you use PayPal for your own protection.

The only one of these that I didn't buy off of Ebay was the Musicmaster bass. And I bought a couple in the "up-trading" days too that were good guitars as well. Never been let down yet.

To ensure good luck, I always
1)ask plenty of questions
2)ask for more photos if you want
3)check and read the feedback for seller
4)use Paypal to add that level of protection

I can't make out much Dutch print but the photos look good. And if you're able to meet the seller in person to check it out, and the price is right, seems you can't lose.

Ok, thanks people! I'm definitely gonna try it out when this guy's ready, because there may be another potential buyer.
I'll see how it turns out. That's also probably the best underlying thought for doing business, not being desperate, nor lasy.

Yeah, I'm not that much of a guitar-wizard, so it'll have to be good at once for me.
Anyway, I'm going over to the guys house, to try it out. It's only 300 euro's, because the guy doesn't know faeces about guitars, so I'll be having to try it out... That's the good and the bad thing about the Netherlands, my country is soooooo small. You can travel from N-side to S-side within a day if you're lucky.
If it's a good one, it's a really good price though.

The Jerm,

Looks cool. I do not know the exact conversion for money, but the price seems steep. If you do get it, it is nice looking. I wish you luck. RK
