A 100th Anniversary Nocaster with the 3 and 3 headstock, but NOT for zillions of dollars would be hip.

I did not realize until this thread that Leo Fender and I share the same birthday - fifty years apart! I was born on 8-10-59 meaning that I will turn 50 on Mr. Fender's 100th. Seems like I ought to plan something special, hmmm...

Wow. That's pretty sweet, dude. Celebrate!

Leo's 100th Birthday on August 10, 2009 comes closer.
Is there any special Leo model expected?

Ano Nocaster or first amp by the custom shop is just going to cost a bag full of money and will be marketed towards the collectors so they can go hide it in the vault. The guitar magazines will definetly pay homage and Fender will somehow honor him in what way I dont have a clue. But Happy 100 LEO .Not bad for a guy who could not play or even tune a guitar. Hey I did not know he founded MusicMan maybe that is why I like there axes. Just got a Petrucci with a piezo SMOKING AX.

a 100th b-day tribute guitar would be sweet.

Les Paul should get one in 10 years (he is 90 this year)
