The feedback from those who saw them in NYC points to your likely realizing great expectations.

Enjoy!

Looks like Houston Texas is as close as they get to me. It's only a 5 or 6 hour trip though! The wife says she wants to go so........ :)

Wonder the ticket price on this one. That, plus travel costs and time would make it quite a pilgrimage for you two.

He's been getting kinda pricey in his dotage and I was sort of hoping that the NYC concert would have wound up on DVD like so many of his others. I could live with that!

Thanks for the heads up on that. I wonder when they were planning to release the news from the underground.

i thought there would be some people interested so that's why i created the thread...

the way i found out about the show was i was looking at the hollywood bowl website. me and the wife usaully go to several hollywood bowl shows each year. so saturday afternoon i was checking the season calendar trying to get on idea about which shows to go to for this year...and then all of a sudden i noticed the clapton winwood show. i immediately checked clapton's website to confirm and then ticketmaster to see when tickets went on sale.

the local weekly...the l.a. weekly had nothing about this and usually the weekly always contains upcoming ticket information. luckily i decided to look at the hollywood bowl site saturday...or i would have missed this.

CE, saw the cream in oct '68 at the colosium here in chicago, now a high rise condo bldg. it was billed as their fare well tour, great to see them do all of those wheels of fire songs live, missed the one blind faith tour the following year, but, my bro saw them and said it was great, he also flew to london two years ago for the cream reunion and caught the madison square garden show as well let us know how the show is , have fun bro .

I've seen Eric Clapton live, he is fantastic. Never seen Stevie Winwood though, although I'm a huge fan of his work too. Enjoy the shows guys, and remember to give us a review here.
