What? I thought billy-joe had a custom made epiphone?

Anyway, lots of artists that play fender arn't in the fender artists box, simply because they havn't contacted eachother enough, or because they arn't big enough.
I mean, when is someone an artist? and when is he/she a hobbyist?
(ok, given, billy-joe has sold enough power-chord records to be called an artist.)

I was going to be on the Artist Page but I told fender it wouldn't be fair to overhsadow all the other Fender Artists.

I tihnk it's strange that Mike Dirnt isn't on the artist page when he has a signature bass: http://www.fender.com/products//search. ... 0138400341

Being on the Arist page is ... I would certainly think ... a contractual artist endorsement. Being a Fender player is not enough. The artist has to agree, and also will be compensated for the endorsement. Also, since, one of them (or both?) have a Gibson signature guitar, that Gibson deal might legally prevent them from endorsing another make (depending on what the terms were).

Same question I had with Dave Murray. He has a artist line guitar new for 2009 from Fender but doesn't show up under the Artist page.

Billy-Joe Armstrong has an endorsement with Gibson if I'm not mistaken. Has his own Les Paul Jr.

http://www2.gibson.com/Products/Electri ... ul-Jr.aspx

And Mike Dirnt has an endorsement with Squier. Has his own signature P-Bass.

why aren't Robin Trower and Rory Gallagher on the artists' page? They both have Custom Shop signatures, and are better than most people on the artists' page.
