I was planning on putting new pickups in my Epiphone Sheraton 2, and was wondering if I could take the pickup covers off the stock pickups and put them on the new ones to save some money? any help would be appreciated.

Be careful; they are often soldered on.

Each humbucker's cover is soldered onto the bottom of their respective pickup in two places. If you don't know how to remove these covers properly, you can destroy them and the pickups at the same time. Further, never presume that either of these covers will fit properly on another brand or model humbucker.

There's no harm in trying if you're getting new buckers anyway. Good luck.
