Hey , it sounds like you're a rapid fire tommygunn indeed. Image
I'd like to hear you on bass. That MM fretless you have in your pic is a serious musician's bass. I'll definately pass on the onward rocking to Reese. Rock on likewise, tommygunn! Image

You got me, bluestrat. He definately doesn't hear the same piece of music that I do in the same way. Why? I dunno.

It's been a long time since people have seen me play. I was just an upstart bass player in a band that went nowhere. Reese is the one with the talent. I have fun watching him grow and mature. Can you believe that he was working out alot of the parts on "The Ocean" & "Nobody's Fault But Mine" a couple of afternoons ago? It was sounding damn good. He just blows me away all the time. He is more like my friend sometimes. We like the same music.

I'm so lucky to get to see him every day. Today, all he did was play on the LP unplugged. He has been sick for a couple of days and just wanted to go out and play, so that's what he did.

I'm wondering if I'm doing the right thing with him not having lessons. A guy came up to us at Guitar Center yesterday while Reese was trying out a LP. He told me that my son sounded really good for his age. When I told him that Reese had never had lessons, he said that I might want to send him to learn modes. I don't want him to turn into one of those guys who are a blur, but nobody likes the garbage coming from their amp.

LOL. You asked a little question and get all this junk. Stay cool.

Bro ! your back cool cool cool . you can play, thats what counts, your doing everything right, you know your main guy Reese will probably ask for lessons when he wants them, right now he is playing from his heart, you gave him that love and he is using it in the best way possible, you're having fun too, it shows, maybe you can sing ,and, play when you guys jam next time.
