LOVE Duck Dunn!!!! Been listenin' to him ever since I was a little kid in the 60s!

Met him in Seattle in '90 when Booker T was playin' the Seattle Center.

Booker T is just an awesome band!! And LOVE Stax/Volt too! Aretha, baby!

Fave MGs song is "Hip Hug-Her"

I loved that stuff as a kid. Even when the music changed after the Beatles hit, I always took notice whenever it played on the radio. I consider the STAX sound the true R&B sound from the '60's...

It was just much more raw and real than Motown... and Donald "Duck" Dunn was an important part of that.

I am a huge Dunn and Cropper fan! Booker T and the MGs were famous for so many firsts! Not to mention extremely influential to many bands!

Welcome to the Fender Lounge!

'Still diggin' BT & the MGs.

Your great uncle and his bandmates created truly incredble music.

'Can still couch-out and roam around the fretboard for a half hour with variations on "Green Onions."

And yes, agreed (above) Duck showed electric bassists for evermore, how to look and sound over-the horizon and into the next galaxy cool with one in your hands.
