Hi, AF, I have a friend who swears by them and has two, the only difference being the color of the finish.

I was at his place and tried one of them, but something about them didn't feel right to me. Maybe I've got used to a longer fretboard, but the strings felt too loose, and the body too fat.

I felt awful that I wasn't more in love with it, because his PRS's cost nearly 10 x's what my Strat did, but I found I liked my own guitar better.

Each to their own!

I'm not sure why you are going on about PRS guitars here on the Fender forum...I do agree with you that they are fantastic...with a different feel entirely than Fenders. I think most people on here have different guitars other than fenders as well, I know I do because the feel and sound different.

Why limit yourself to blonde's when you can have a redhead, brunette and woman with black hair as well.

To each their own.

Overpriced eyecandy in my opinion. While they are fine guitars and the ones I've played sounded great I just couldn't justify paying that kind of money. I'd rather have a Gibby Les Paul for that kind of dough but this is all just my opinion YMMV. :)

I think most guitar players have "heard of" PRS guitars. They do make great guitars, and I'd rather have a PRS than a Les Paul any day. Tons of players use them, from jazz, to rock, to metal, to pop. Very versatile guitars and has been Santana's choice pretty much forever.

I'll get one soon myself, but to be honest, it will be just to have it. There isn't much my strat can't do in the way of tone, so I don't "need" the PRS for anything. I'd just like to have it.
