Well, yesterday I placed the order for my Fender Pro Junior after much research, tone testing, and saving! :D :D I'm feeling great since this goes perfectly with my Classic Series 50s Strat, and I've been clicking my UPS package tracking bookmark obsessively. Is there anything cool I should know about this amp that would be good to know as soon as I take it out of the box? Thanks!

I don't own one personally, but after playing one, I can tell you that it totally rocks. Have fun! :D

The PJ is my favorite "gigging' amp...either mic'd up or direct...set the volume on 8 and the tone on 2-3 and with a Strat or Tele, this amp will scream!!!

Oh, I did swap out the stock spkr for an Eminence Rajin' Cajun. 8)

It's loud enough for a small club, room or for recording. When I don't mic up mine, I usually tilt it slightly and elevate a bit off of the stage so that you don't loose all of the bass response. I think you can find soundclips on YT.

Well folks, I received my Fender Pro Junior from UPS today, only to discover to my dismay that both 12AX7s had fallen out in shipping, and one had shattered. i was grateful that no other damage had been done (that I can tell of yet) and of course I have not turned it on. luckily, i can pick up a new tube tmorrow, but until then, who knows if that caused any other problems, and whether the speaker got sliced of something like that. does anyone have experience with a shattered tube situation?

Hello Stratmastah,

Glad to hear it was only the tubes,
Ring up the vendor explain the facts
tell em you'll send a copy of the tube bill
and ask them to make good on it.
Hey no harm in getting completely satisfied.
Keep us posted.

Cheers.
