I saw Iron Maiden in 1985 on their Powerslave tour. Twisted Sister was the opening act. What a show. Maiden was at their peak around that time IMO and the show was fantastic!!

Flight of the Icarus ... one of my favorite metal tunes.

I really only dug Iron Maiden's first albumwith their first singer, Paul Day. Supposedly the guy was boring on stage, and that's why he got booted. All the same, Dickinson's vocals grate on me after about 30 second. Makes me sad, cuz Steve Harris is one of my favorites.

I was a big fan in the '80s. I sort of lost interest when Bruce left the band.

I still buy their CDs, but I don't have them playing all the time any more.

I started listening heavily to Maiden about 8 months ago and I'm hooked. In my opinion they are metal embodied.

I like Iron Maiden a lot, and while I am not a huge fan of signature guitars, I still think that Dave Murray, Adrian Smith, and Jannick Gers should all have Fender signature Strats....

Bruce in back...Arri is why I picked up the bass 20 years a go. 7th grade, my uncle got the then new Live After Death of cassette, hahaha, then my friend had it on record - lp - remember those. I have their Rock in Rio from '03 IIRC, awesome DVD. All gimmick (Eddi) aside, they're very musical, they don't just play something that sound good, they play well(correctly) like a music student in a Genesis kinda way, if you know what I mean.
