You don't need to "step up" to be recognised, we can already spot you: business up front, party at the back; black jeans; black Eddie tee; shiny black waistcoat.

Only teasing, I'm a fan.

"Sanctuary put out the two-disc The Essential Iron Maiden in 2005 to coincide with the group's co-headlining Ozzfest tour with Black Sabbath, a tour that found Maiden pulling out due to a series of confrontations with Ozzy's wife/manager, Sharon Osbourne. " -MSN

Stinks that apperntly there are not going to be in Ozzfest.

Saw them in their younger days. Still in to them today. Caught a recent show of them recording on Abbey Road Live on Sundance Channel. They still got what it takes after all these years.

Never got into metal at all. The most metal I've ever gotten is Led Zepplin.

Yeah I love Maiden. These guys really inspired me to start playing guitar. Love the harmonic solos. Awesome stuff.

big fan, right here. last year, when my buddy and i were dropping a crate engine into his truck, we listened to nothing but them, seems silly i know, but everytime number of the beast came on ths shop, and those opening chords hit, one of us would yell out 'stike a metal pose' and we'd drop whatever ratchet, pry bar, what ever and #$@*&!% stike a metal pose. on the spot. we may have been drunk, and it may have been stupid, but it was fun, and it's one of the only ways to truly rock out with some of my non-musically inclined friends.

I saw them live during the Powerslave tour in the 80s. My first two "albums" that I bought on the same day: Van Halen I and Iron Maiden's Piece of Mind. PoM is the best album ever!
