You guys are something else, you have no idea how much of a lift I'm getting from this. I'm tempted to tell you all what's been going on, but it feels kinda weird, and I'm not looking for anyones sympathy. Suffice to say something very nasty was removed from one of my vital organs ( I thought they were all vital!) the op took just over five hours, and as I said everything seems to be cool. My one problem is.... I can't pick up a guitar  Time's a great healer, as are all of your comments. Thanks guys, you humble me. I wish you all everything you wish for yourself.

Thanks Chet,

I've followed a few threads regarding this, and I get the feeling you know exactly how I feel about this place, and more importantly, the people within. The " MOJO" is very much appreciated, I mean it. I just wish I could find the words man.

You sound just like the staff nurse Bill  And yes the food did indeed SUCK, thankfully I have friends on the outside who smuggled goodies in for me  I have eaten bud, my sis made me spaggetti and garlic bread. All home made, and very tasty. I have to take my pk injection now, I'll be out of it for an hour or so. But just like big Arni, I'll be back!

Welcome home, Snowy, even if only for the weekend. Sometimes, even just a couple of days in your familiar digs can bring a little comfort in trying times. Be strong, mate, and we'll all be waiting for updates on your healing and recovery.

I got time off for good behaviour  albeit just for the wekend :( I had to go in to hospital for some surgery, everything seems to have gone quite well. The docs know I hate being couped up in there, so they agreed to give me the weekend off. I have to report back in first thing Monday though, hopefully it won't be for too long. So what's been happening peeps? I'll take a scoot around the forums and bring myself up to speed, I've missed this place.

welcome back, best wishes!
